Kris Marrion is a Vice President and Branch Manager with more than 20 years of experience at Erie Insurance, where his career reflects steady progression, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to the independent agency system. He began his journey with Erie Insurance as a temporary employee in the mail room and advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Customer Service Representative and District Sales Manager. His dedication and performance led him to a Branch Manager opportunity in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he successfully led the territory for seven years. During his time in North Carolina, Kris earned the Insurance Professional of the Year Award from the North Carolina Independent Insurance Association, recognizing his leadership and contributions to the industry. Today, he serves as Vice President and Branch Manager of a Maryland branch, returning home to the community where he was born and raised. In his leadership role, Kris focuses on strengthening partnerships with independent agents, driving operational excellence, and reinforcing Erie Insurance’s commitment to service and integrity. A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, Kris earned his undergraduate degree in Business with minors in Marketing and Management, followed by an MBA from York’s business school. His leadership philosophy centers on accountability, teamwork, and investing in people—principles that have defined his career from the mail room to executive leadership.
